FAQ

Everything people usually ask before booking their first session.
  • Who do you work with?

I work with anyone that is interested and curious to try something new. Ages range from 18 to 80 years old!

  • What does a session look like?

We will first start with an in depth assessment and then immediately start moving — first decrease pain, then increase range of motion, and lastly get strong in those new found ranges.

  • Do you do passive treatments and use machines?

Very rarely. They need to be used at the right time and with the right intention, mainly to decrease pain and as an adjunct to exercise.

  • Do you give exercise videos?

I have a YouTube channel and put all of my videos there. Then I'll link the YouTube videos with your exercises so everything is guided and you know what you have to do.

  • What equipment will we use?

This varies greatly, since I work with what you have available to you. I don't want to give you movements that you can only do in a fully equipped commercial gym. We can start working even if you don't have any equipment to use at home or where you train.

  • What are the main goals of physio?

To get you as independent as possible. This usually becomes easier once we decrease pain, increase movement capacity and then get you stronger. I will give you the tools that you can use on your own when problems arise again.

  • I'm not injured and I'm not in pain — can I still come?

Yes! I wish more people started physio before they get injured, so that they are prepared and have the tools when they actually injure themselves or their pain increases.

  • Are the sessions expensive?

This depends on what you value in life. If your health is important to you, it's not expensive. I price my sessions as fairly as possible — I am happy to give you a price breakdown whenever you want.

  • Do I have to go to a specialist before I come to you?

It's not needed, however I will always refer out if I see any contraindications to movement or anything that requires immediate medical attention.
